My boat was built by J. Telfa in Sweden in 1958. I don't know if she is actually registered as a Nordic Folkboat because she originally came with an inboard and class rules don't permit them. I guess racing the fleet is out of the question..:) She is either larch or cedar planking over Steam bent White Oak frames. Dimensions: Length: 25ft 1 inch Length on the water line: 19 ft 8 inches Beam: 7ft 2.5 inches. Draft: 3ft 11 inches. Sail area: 235 (160 main, 75 Jib) in square feet. They weigh around 5000lbs, the keel is 54% of the total weight, or 2200 pounds. Needless to say Folkboats can stand up in a blow... She can sleep 2-4 but there is only sitting headroom inside. Like everybody else says, accommodations are Spartan, but nice and actually pretty comfortable once you get used not living in luxury.
